چکیده
Abstract Background To describe the biomarkers of lipid metabolism in children and adolescents with polyarticular systemic JIA to relate them diseases subtypes, activity markers, nutritional status. Methods A cross-sectional study including 62 patients was performed. The following variables were evaluated: disease medications used, body mass index, height for age (z-score), skin folds (bicipital, tricipital, subscapular suprailiac), food intake based on three 24-h recalls, profile (total cholesterol (CT), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), high-density (HDL), triglycerides (TG) non-HDL (N-HDLc), glycemia insulin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), ultrasensitive C-reactive protein (us-CRP) apolipoproteins A-I B (Apo Apo B). Results Dyslipidemia observed 83.3% patients. Based classical profile, low HDL-c levels most frequently alteration observed. Inadequate LDL-c, NHDL-c significantly more frequent subtype when compared ( p = 0.017, 0.001 0.042 respectively). Patients biological therapy had a better adequacy concentrations. ESR showed negative correlation level r ? 0.25, 0.047). Conclusion We concluded that dyslipidemia is common JIA, especially subtype. an elevated associated lower concentrations A-I, suggesting participation inflammatory process.

R202Q Mutation of Mediterranean Fever Gene in Iranian patients with Systemic-onset Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Background: Systemic-onset Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SoJIA) is an autoinflammatory disease with complex genetic trait starts in children less than 16 years of age with fever and cutaneous rash. Despite, the main genetic factors that may play a role in SoJIA have not yet been identified. High level of interleukin-1beta in the blood of SoJIA patients has been reported. The production and sec...
